Marlin Marine was established in Southampton in 1971 by Alan
Soper who brings his huge knowledge to bear providing advice
for our customers in all the aspects of engine and drivetrain
available to them when considering the power requirements for
new vessels or the best solutions for re-engining.

Being a family business Alan is supported by his son Mark who heads up the technical
side of the business offering the latest in computer diagnostics and technical support
through to full engine rebuild services.


Our parts department holds the largest stock of spares available in the UK for the full
range of FPT and Iveco engines. Managed by Derek, who possesses an encyclopaedic
knowledge of engines and spares after 35 years in the industry, the parts department can
assist you quickly and dispatch parts in record time to ensure your boat is always ready
for sea and downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.
